Welcome to Path of Progress, a web-based application operated by Sola Fide Technologies ("we", "us", "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Path of Progress website and progressive web application ("Service"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. Eligibility and Account Responsibility

The Service is intended for use by parents or legal guardians ("Parent Users").
Children may use sub-profiles within the application but only under the direct supervision of a Parent User.
By registering, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and the legal guardian of any child users associated with your account.

2. Use of the Service

The Service provides a chore management system gamified with fantasy-themed rewards.
Users earn Coins and Gems through completion of chores ("Quests").
- Coins are used to unlock in-app content such as avatars and titles.
- Gems are assigned to real-world rewards which are managed solely by Parent Users.
There are no real-money purchases in the Service. All currency is earned through task completion.

3. Data and Privacy

We do not collect or process personal data beyond:
- Account nicknames (e.g., "Dad", "Ella", "Captain Sparkle")
- Chore/task names and frequency
No location tracking, advertising IDs, or analytics systems are used.
No information is shared with or sold to third parties.

4. User Content and Interaction

Users may unlock pre-generated content (e.g., avatars, fantasy titles) created by us using AI.
There is no user-uploaded content and no public posting features.
Messaging and interaction are restricted solely to users within the same registered family account.

5. Intellectual Property

All content within the Service (characters, titles, avatars, themes) is the original work of Sola Fide Technologies, generated using AI.
This content is provided for entertainment and educational use only and may not be copied or distributed without permission.

6. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The Service is provided "as-is" and "as available" without warranty of any kind.
Sola Fide Technologies is not liable for:
- Accuracy or appropriateness of chore assignments
- Physical injury, misuse of the Service, or child behavior
- Data loss, interruptions in service, or technical failures
Parents are solely responsible for monitoring, assigning, and validating chores and rewards.

7. Service Availability

We strive for high uptime, but we do not guarantee continuous availability.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or terminate access at any time without notice.

8. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Alberta, Canada.
Any disputes will be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the Alberta Arbitration Act.
Users agree to waive the right to class actions or jury trials.

9. Modifications

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The latest version will always be available on this page and within the application. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
